People bringing up crypto at a bitcoin conference aren't that different from people bringing up Nostr at a bitcoin conference.

Bitcoin has no knowledge of either of them and people with overlapping interests are into bitcoin. This is a good thing.

Bitcoin is for everyone. Step out of Plato's cave. It's nice up here.

I see it differently. Bitcoin and NOSTR ethos are somewhat similar, not forgetting that lightning BTC payments integrate really well with NOSTR. Crypto has a tendency to be more scammy and a crypto advocate is more likely to have a hidden agenda, whilst a pure BTC advocate not.
