one of the things i find really interesting about the gospel accounts of Jesus, is that he was always trying to stay on the downlow, and stay off the radar. He would say things like, "YOUR faith has healed you", and "dont tell anyone about this." when someone would get healed.

And when something crazy and supernatural would occur, he would tell his disciples, "dont tell anyone about this now." Totally unmotivated by fame and glory.

Many times his ministry would be hurt by the publicity

He would still do it, motivated solely by compassion

Jesus. One of the GOATs.

One of ?

Jesus was the greatest and nobody else was even close.

The Americanized Jesus and the persecuted Jesus are two very different people. The true Jesus rejected success and popularism. He was so unpopular that they crucified him. Not once is it mentioned in the Gospels that Jesus sought a crowd.

yeah, nah.

the people loved him.

the establishment and the infloooencers saw him and john as a threat. so they offed them both. religious people are always feel threatened by Jesus

I think many people loved him. Many people he encountered wanted him gone though. Including his own hometown.

Not sure where I read it but I recall someone addressing this quality...

The reasoning was that as the enlightened individual that christ was meant he possessed the ability to see sickness/disease for what they truly are,

specific perspectives, thought patterns, and behaviors.

The ability to recognize this meant the ability to see through it and too pass along new perspectives new thoughts new behaviors

The reason it was not to be spoken of was to avoid falling back into the old mindset and thus the return of disease

Onward and upward
