Best I can think of is portable DJ turntables like the Reloop and Numarks. You can upgrade them and mod them out.

But after all of that you’re better off getting a better table (something used even) and then getting a headphone preamp.

Ok thanks for the info!

Keep the vinyl spinning! 👊⚡️

Yeah I think used TTs are often the way to go on a budget, they built them better back in the day.

But yeah you’d need a pre-amp with a headphone out.

What are the TTs? Link? Brand?

Turntables, I just mean shopping for decent brands second hand. I’d rather an average turntable from the 70s/80s than a similar brand built today.

A lot of modern turntables are pretty nasty sounding but an old deck with a decent stylus, gets my vote every time.

For new I like Pro-Jects. Also check out U-turns.

I think a used Technics 1200 is fantastic. They are built like tanks and can be found everywhere.

1200s everywhere? Where do you live, I should make a trip!

I mean, they’re not falling off trees, but they made millions of them, so they’re probably the most widely available used deck around.

Guitar/music shops are always a good place to look.

They’re certainly very well built, mines from 96 and still going strong!
