Neither my husband nor I grew up learning how to fix or build anything except for teeth. With the help of YouTube and helpful Lowe’s employees we are learning and getting things done 💪.

It’s shocking how satisfying it is.

Wow, what an upgrade!

Thank you! So many of our neighbors (mostly elderly who have been here 40+ years) are now asking us to help them with their houses 🥰

Those are truly the best possible compliments you can receive 🤙 great job! 💪

That looks great, better than what was there.

Looks great. I grew up the opposite, a parent would even pull parts off of car and not tell me, I had to diagnose and fix. For me it’s so satisfying to have another build or fix 🤪

Jealous. Knowing how to fix things yourself is a flex.

A jack of many trades, master of none, can be helpful, can also be hindering. Having expertise in a field is a flex ❤️

Very pretty. Well done!

The best bit is that you only pay tax on the materials & tools you buy.

The worst bit is knowing where things didn't quite go to plan or line up properly. Nobody else can see, but you can never unsee it.

That is definitely the worst part especially for someone prone to ocd.

The hilarious thing is that you would barely notice if you didn't do it yourself 😆

It looks professionally done gj

Not quite as much up close but we are getting better with experience. Thank you!
