Interesting, but I've been busting my ass covering every inch of my property with real trees, so nowhere to put them.

Also, I kinda like the look of a well installed solar roof array.

I cant come to terms with putting holes in a perfectly good tin roof.

If you have a standing seam metal roof, they don't put holes in it, they clamp to the seams. 0 perforations that way.

I did not know that.

There are reports that whilst these trees do indeed generate some power, they do not achieve the claimed outputs and do so at greater cost than other wind:
