Yeah, picking winners is basically ded, since the trading houses do the same move, but with some inside baseball ⚾ mixed in and with better computers and more-specialized models.
That's why all swings are now so dramatic.
He's saving the fund fees, but probably loses more on the computation and lagging profit. But it's a cute hobby.
