I spent most of my adult life in California. When I came back to my home state it was supposed to be temporary. I’ve been here longer than I expected, but I don’t feel like I ever really came home. Some days I just want to get on I-40 pointed west.

for me as a not-american its incredible how long the distance from west coast to east coast really is. I moved several times but it never felt really home. Maybe sometime this day will come - i feel you. 🖖
