The bombshell report states that residents in southern Israel listening to Hamas radio comms heard talk of militia breaching the border fence and seizing hostages - and reported their findings to authorities.

Not only were their warnings ignored by the Israeli Army, the IDF eventually cut off their access to Hamas radio traffic, Haaretz added.
