to me, mining centralization is one of the biggest threats to the bitcoin network. does Mike agree? and what does he think of the Bitaxe/solo mining movement? could this actually help? what other solutions are there?

I agree with centralization being a huge threat. While pool centralization is worrisome, I am much more concerned with access to the mining chips themselves. Would be interested on his take of what block is working on or any other movements on the horizon that would help with that.
