When do you think it will increase? We already got spam, but so far it was handleable.
I assume, as its popularity grows, the spam will grow. So we might have waves, but I assume, it has to be more popular to attract more spam.

it will definitely grow with popularity. we have ratelimit scripts on the damus relay to stop the bulk of it, but we allow 6 or so note every minute per IP, so spammers can do 6 posts * number of machines they have per minute, which is still a lot.
