Is it possible to use nginx to proxy lnurl payment requests to Zeus' new self-custodial lnadress "zeuspay[.]com"?

I'm thinking that if I use my current lnurl setup but change the nginx config to forward requests to my domain to zeuspay domain, it should work, right?

As anyone tried it? If this works I can really start thinking about fully nuking my lnd node at home, it's just a maintenance burden.

would this work?

Problably.

Although, actually running an nginx proxy makes you less ruggable because you cam check the logs for incoming requests and know if zeuspay is sinkholing your payments.

word, sounds like you know what you're doing so just skip over the github stuff and self-host it.

yea, that should definitely work. just copy the zeuspay.com/.well-known/lnurlp/USER-NAME to your-self-hosted-domain.com/.well-known/lnurlp/WHATEVER and then you can use WHATEVER @your-self-hosted-domain.com to begin receiving zaps on your nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5 wallet.

Should be doable

I just did this. Can you try to zap me to see if it works?

Non-custodial lnaddress with a non-custodial custom domain!

"invoice fail". I tried

I think I just setted up the best of lost worlds: my lnurl webserver will proxy invoice requests preferentially to my lnd node at home and failover if unresponsive to zeuspay!

That way if and when I fuck up my sovereign stack again, zeuspay can save albeit it charges some hefty fees.
