My kids have inquisitive scientific minds and after my son found a sheep jaw on a walk he decided to experiment on how his fizzy drink impacted a tooth put into it.

This reminded me of an experiment my year 2 or 3 teacher conducted with us. We brought in some of our baby teeth. They were placed in Coke, orange juice, milk and water. The results I clearly remember, the next day the teeth in Coke were completely dissolved, nothing left. The orange juice teeth were half missing, milk and water were still intact.

It's one of my earliest clear memories and I'm thankful my teacher did that experiment with us, I've never forgotten it.

Anyone have similar memories?

Not a memory of that, but recently a coworker told me of a former coworker of his who had previously worked for a bottling company. She said she would never drink a monster energy drink because the concrete in that part of the bottling plant had to be redone every five years.

Yeah it's pretty highly acid, all of that stuff.
