Commercial fusion reactors are coming, the two main reasons:
Superconductors to hold the 100M deg C plasma in place and specialised AI to design the reactor chambers.
Do you think they will be large scale reactors like we currently have or "micro" reactors.

In fact, the larger the reactor, the cooler it can run, until you get to the size of our sun which runs at only 15M deg C
