Taxes are a tough subject for me. I think the tax system we have in the States is messed up. But I also believe the open brand of free trade we participate in is wrong, too. What has been said in the news lately is that other countries are allowed to freely export their goods to the USA, and they charge American companies high(er) w fees and tariffs hen we send goods to their countries. How is that fair? I believe I have heard from the news channels online that Mr. Trump is merely doing reciprocal tariffs (except in the case of China - they are targeted tariffs - not balanket). And, from what I've read and heard, it sounds like many countries are calling to set up time to make deals with the US to negotiate and mutually lower/eliminate tariffs. In my simple mine, Trump is merely standing up for the people he represents (much as you would to a high school bully), and saying, "This isn't fair. Knock it off, or deal wit me." I'd be happy to hear your thoughts.
