This is now the US "dream". Draw the parallel at the Dnieper River and turn it into a North/South Korea plus 1980s Afghanistan.

Problem is Russia fought a counter insurgency in Chechnya in the 90s defeating US/ISIS. They'll do it again

🇺🇦🇺🇸Ukraine could become "frozen conflict" claim US officials.

Western media cites unnamed officials who insist there's possibility Ukraine war could end up in situation where fighting pauses, but neither side agrees that war is over.

There’s no “news” here. It’s been the US’s dream for a stagnant conflict since 2014 when we pressured Ukraine to sign the Minsk Accord, and then when nobody played nice the Minsk Accord 2.0 which nobody followed. Will we have Minsk Accord 3.0? Why bother. No side wants peace in the area.

Not Ukraine.

Not Russia.

Not the US military industry.

Not big oil.

Not Boris Johnson when he pressured against negotiations.

So who’s side are you on. When pressured at the town hall, Trump answered “I’m on the side of people stop dying.” I’m not a #ultramaga, but that sounds like a pretty good side to me too.
