Last week I catched a crack in the windshield.
The guy at the repair service just told me it might cost an extra 100 euros to fix it, because my car is so rusty, it might be necessary to remove rust in order to change the windshield.

That's why you spend the $40 pretty quickly.
You can just replace it yourself. This is my 19 YO son's old windscreen.
