For the record, I am against the Russian invasion of Ukraine. But, I am cognizant of the pressure placed on Russia by the US and Ukraine as a pawn in the proxy war.

So, I can see from the perspective of Russia for the invasion. Similarly, Iran using Hamas as a pawn to proxy war against Israel. But I am saddened by how many innocent lives have/will be taken in the offensive against Gaza.
