Ah. I use Nostr Wallet Connect for zapping and don't choose wallets. But the handler for that would be done by the OS. Reboot your phone?
I rebooted twice. Nothing. Same issue keeps happening over and over. It's up to date and everything.🤔
You need to go to the Phone Settings/Apps/ your wallet and reset the defaults. The default wallet choice is an OS setting.
Did what you said and still nothing. Just keeps pausing at the end.

On manual payment? That means the receiver wallet is not sending the zap receipt to your public inbox relays or that your public inbox relays are not accepting those events.
Yep. The last scenario seems more likely. Any idea which relay could be causing this issue?

The paid/WOT ones do not allow unpaid keys to send you events. So they are terrible for the Inbox section.
nostr.band is more useful as a search relay than as inbox, since they have over 500M events to store and provide (slow + busy).
The others are fine.
Just keep in mind that the first scenario is also likely since many users do not use a zap-enabled wallet.
Can you check if your wallet is actually sending the payments? I did not receive your zap from this.
It didn't send them.

I'm trying. FYI, I noticed something else just now. I tried to zap a few random people using their lightning address on their profile, and it just pauses for a few seconds and then collapses after I hit the Send Sats button🤷.
I fixed it. It's a client issue. One with Amethyst, perhaps. I zapped using Coracle and it worked just fine! Appreciate your time, though. And thanks for telling me more about relays! I'm still trying to fully wrap my head around how different types are used.

My using of a different client to zap. Why it wasn't working through amethyst, idk🤷. Derek Ross did mention in his comment about using NWC instead of choosing from a list of wallets but... I don't see how that would affect someone's ability to zap.

Are you using the same wallet for both Amethyst and Coracle?
Is the wallet opening the invoice to pay correctly?
Does the wallet show any error message when trying to pay on their screen?

hum.. I don't know what I am looking at. Was any of these payments through Amethyst? Which wallet is this?
They are the last two zaps that I've sent. No, they were done through coracle. Also, this is my Strike wallet, I've been using it to zap for the past few months. But sending through strike wasn't an issue until today for some reason. Kind of anomalous lol.
And when you hit the zap button on Amethyst, does it open Strike or another app?
Strike does tell you when the payment fails or succeeds with a big green check mark on the screen. Does that happen?

Strike does not accept Nostr Wallet Connect, so the current payment setup is going to another app.
You can click and hold the zap button and clear the 3 fields at the end of the screen to make Amethyst open wallet apps.
That worked. Thank you! But, it still doesn't explain why wallet options weren't loading earlier today or how I've been sending zaps using strike with my NWC info filled out.
It's just weird. It was working fine yesterday.
