Seems I figured it out, shoutout to Parman.

Make sure you have Proxy URL enabled in the Sparrow Wallet server settings if not it will take significantly longer to connect to your node via tor.

Why do you need to use Tor with your own node?

Are you not trusting yourself?

Use Tailscale if you have a Tor only node, making a direct tunnel to your node, over a private IP.
