Went to create an artist IG. Of course filled in details that were not my own - for artistic reasons - like the birthday being April 5, 1971 - but it’s not that they know that. “Created” the account that was immediately presented with THIS. Never got to access my profile, never got make even a single post.

INSTANT & AUTOMATIC ACCOUNT SUSPENSION

…On the grounds that because it’s feel like further doxxing myself to IG, then I must be creating this account with the expressed purpose to misrepresent, deceive, and defraud other users.

Meanwhile ACTUALLY scammers run wild and clone the accounts of known / well follow influencers to scam others and all of NOTHING is done about it.

Major 🤡💩. What I get for attempting to venture back into the fediverse panopticon I guess…

20 sats says it's because "goon" can be naughty and they can't have their user's poor virgin eyes sullied with such thing.

Serious and nefarious goonery afoot 😂

It’s very lame. I’m going to just see have far I can go without an artist IG or artist Twitter. Both apps lower my quality of life.
