Yeah man, whenever I'm in London I look and see all of these buildings all over. The most beautiful ones are always repurposed into government buildings, libraries, post offices, etc.

There is just no way I can sit here and believe that people who were supposed to be at a massive technological disadvantage were building structures with such intricacy and precision. Out of marble, perfect symmetry for every section, and far grander than anything we build today (even by billionaire standards).

All while they are getting around with a horse and cart, with dirt roads, no electricity.

Same goes for the world's fair 'temporary structures'. It's just laughable that we buy these explanations and take them at face value. Literal Rome-level architecture in the US at the turn of the 19th century. No fucking way.
