Um you’re talking to someone with no melanin. I don’t understand.

Being half black and part native American I don't really burn. Half hour in the sun and you're like "how was your vacation? You got brown!"

I like to call it my water-melanin

🤣

I turn red and then back to white. I’m just milk colored.

So you're lateralus (which is just the alchemist process) backwards?

Then

white are

All I see

Red and yellow then came to be

Reaching out to me

Let's me seešŸŽ¶šŸŽµ

Are you somewhere in the world where that’s a problem, though… ā˜€ļø

It makes outdoor activities difficult sometimes. If I go to the beach people constantly ask if I’ve applied sunscreen like it’s a psa. I’m probably the only western woman who heard of burkinis and thought excellent idea! What level sun protection is the fabric?

As an ashkenazi Jew, I can’t tan until I’ve burned at least once for the year.

…and even then, the tan is weak.

My sister can tan and get really dark. She also has dark hair and eyes. I’m just the fair haired child.

That’s how my kids are. One looks a different race than me by the end of summer and the other is more like me.

I’ve got olive skin so I tan easily and don’t burn…thank goodness for my Mediterranean genes!

I have some African genes the Irish and Dane genes got the melanin expression apparently.

That's called the base burnšŸ¤·šŸ½

I’m very good at it.

Then don't do it for free!
