How does the economics work in small scale mining ? I thought it was for the big guys ?

For the price of these miners I am just playing the lottery. Also total wattage in use is only 200 to 300 watts. I am more interested in decentralized mining which every plebminer helps with.

But there is a chance to win a block.

A small miner like me wins a block about once a month give or take

My apollo2 has its own solo pool. My bitaxe and Braiins miners are attached to it
