Today I found out that even with a salt brine for lacto-fermenting Everglades tomatoes, they still have enough sugar in them to let yeasts win the battle and turn the batch alcoholic. I knew some varieties of modern toamatoes were bred to be sweeter but these are supposed to be as close to wild as you can find anymore. Hmm, tomato moonshine anyone? #grownostr #growyourown #learnstuff …. Someday I’ll figure out what’s wrong with my other devices and actually post pictures with all this.
