To ease transition for twitter users:

I see many users having difficulty to grasp public and private keys, as they expect username and password

To ease the transition, it should be crystal clear how to share their account link and make clear that the combination of userid and password is the private key and that is unshareable.

Maybe it could even be good to detect that a user has tried to past a private key like string in a chat and warn him and wait for confirmation.

Or provide an old fashioned user password combinations to abstract the Private key, which would be best implicitly called and protected on this system
