What is the best way to open a Lightning channel these day?

Advice!
Depends on your node. Is it an always online node? mobile device? Are you ready to pay LSP for your channels?
1. find good nodes to connect to (acinq, strike, WoS, LightningWatch, ...) 3-5 channels is a good start.
2. wait for reasonable on-chain fees
3. batch-open private! channels with selected nodes
4. swap some capacity back to onchain (e.g. via boltz) to get inbound capacity if you need it.
Don't open anything smaller then 6m.
Don't try to route.
