For those of you trying to ditch plastic clothes and switch to natural fibers. Socks are one of the most difficult items to find that are made of 100% natural fibers. I’ve tried 100% cotton socks, but if you are someone who is ripped and beautiful and aligned with the truth these socks easily get torn up over the course of a few months of lifting weights and going for walks.

Your best bet is to set yourself up to do as many things as possible barefoot (Which you should have been striving to do already so you can better exercise your foot muscles) or with shoes that have leather insoles that you can go barefoot in (loafers or Birkenstocks).

If I’m at a commercial gym I will typically wear Birkenstocks for more stationary lifts.

You fucks are wearing plastic clothes? Wtf

Most people do (polyester, nylon, acetate, acrylic, etc.,). Even worse, most people wear recycled plastic clothes.

How about wool socks from https://darntough.com?

I didn’t look at each individual pair, but looks like they’re cut with nylon and spandex.

I’ve only found 100% wool socks through luxury clothing brands and they’re more so made for dressing up rather than athletic activity.

Yep you are right! Thanks for pointing it out. I should have paid closer attention. It is surprisingly hard to find wool socks without synthetics sneaking in even if it’s only 5-10% of the overall material.

Yup devil’s in the details. Sunspel makes 100% wool socks, but those are a bit more dressy. Barefoot is typically best. Saves you money too.
