You know I felt betrayed by bitcoin influencers and podcasters and thought leaders not posting their relevant content here on nostr. Then I realized x.com is where they need to be to convert the masses to bitcoin.
If they posted here they wouldn't be able to share their ideas with zero coiners .
So the natural progression is for a nocoiner to read Lyn Alden's tweets on x.com, and eventually migrate here to nostr after they've gone down the rabbit hole.
Fact is we need as many bitcoiners on x, especially the influencers , to counteract the dystopian influencers there.
I am happy being able to post here without being uncensored, and knowing most here share similar values.

Well-known Twitter ostriches with blue checkmarks send those billions a message: 'Say Nostr, be Twitter.' That doesn't not lead to a dystopian scenario, but I can see how even a dystopian scenario wins in such a comparison.
Is there anything less sincere and more painfully predictable than an influencer? I cringe every time I come into contact with one. One love, one Nostr!

When teaching a group of teens about truthfulness in First Day School (Sunday School), I brought up the question of influencers. They already knew that much of influencer culture is deceptive. Maybe there's hope. At least, among people who care about the truth and honesty.
