Like it or not, the ostrich is here to stay. Nostr doesn’t need (wd prolly never have consensus on) an “official logo”, as long as it has a recognizable mascot.

What makes an ostrich recognizable are the SAME features that make it’s image difficult to scale (to icon size) … it’s long thin neck and legs.

But this is a moot point, cause The Nostr Ostrich is already a thing, and will never go away. So how do we embrace the ostrich in nostr iconography? How do we make it work?

This is the way.

Nostrdesign needs to have branding guidelines. NOT to get people to use a certain logo or color scheme, but to GUIDE creators in best practices when designing their own nostr logos and color schemes.
