Lots of deer where I live especially this year. I’ve never used a crossbow, and I don’t think they are legal for use in my state. I could be wrong but I think I remember seeing something about that. However, even if they were, I think I really enjoy the feel and capability that a modern compound bow offers
I’ve been thinking about getting into hunting, but I want to use either a compound or crossbow. I know the compounds are way cheaper than a crossbow.
Compounds will have less restrictions as well. It’s definitely a satisfying feeling to go harvest your own meat and process it all yourself. It’s really not as cheap as everyone makes it sound though after the time, labor and cost of gear 😂
Ya forsure, but if you can just sit on your back deck and harvest them, i don’t think it gets much cheaper than that! 🏹
