Way too many people came here looking for a way to monetize content instead of considering the true value proposition of Nostr – which is censorship resistance.

Yes, censorship resistant money is also cool. But it can create expectations that can’t be sustained and it might make people move back to Twitter because Elon added a monetization scheme that rewards creators.

It’s better to promote Nostr for what it does best: censorship resistance and friendliness to privacy.
