I explain to him that I want something similar to what he was doing but I wanted a live connection. A few years later and he is close to what we discussed. That's why I follow.
I also told him to start developing for Mastodon. He poo, pooed Mastodon. in 2017 Now he's all hot on Maston and Nostr.

I fixed the RSS feeds in Mastodon not having a title with an XSL transform & a web page that acts as a proxy to fetch it for you and do the work. Can now apply that strategy to fix all sorts of RSS things. No waiting forever for a fix that will never come. Or dependency lock in.
