The value of a react to the receiver is temporary, for sure.
This is mostly just to say that the only-zaps ethos drops that value entirely. Some people have been making the claim that zaps are the only way to communicate value over Nostr, but I don't think that's true.
To expand I would value a comment or quote over a zap. A comment requires action and show that I have created a response that has emotion behind it. A quote is a direct emotional response meant to juxtapose the two notes. a repost is only a button push. One that means my audiences should see this too but not much else.

yeah temporary in both senses, cause i actually meant that over time.. the more time youβre not on algorithm driven platforms you care less if you received a reaction for the content you post, you tend to value the conversations under that content much much more.. I see both sides for sure.
