That’s a good sign, but isn’t that counter to their interests? The more they make PWA first-class citizens the more they lose App Store control.

PWA’s can do push notifications on iOS now, they can run in the background, cache, and they circumvent the App Store and a whole lot of T&C’s.
But isn't using PWAs with deep integration kindof living under the sword of damocles once again ?
