Most of us do need to trust and rely on other in some way or form in this world. Would being 'self sovereign' also not mean that you'd have to build your own computer-chips and whatever else is needed to produce your own node, computer, hardware wallet etc?
1. If the sun (or x) took out all electronics tomorrow I’d survive off the land & resources currently available. #Permaculture That is what I mean about being self-sovereign. 😊
2. Lived majority of my life offline & only #nostr to unite 99% to rise & demand better from the 1%
I’ve said #eattherich before & explained it. You can look 👀 I’m “rich” by most standards.
3. All the tech questions don’t apply to me on the level they do most #btc people because:
A: I’ve never intentionally sought to exploit another human for my personal benefit. Nor did I seek to exploit any natural resources beyond the small amount needed. I’ve been successful financially & have always given back to #humanity
B. I’m well aware that the world has been manipulated to make the tip top 1% wealthier
C. Financial resources or **power** dynamics don’t matter to me in the way it does to some. Humans automatically get my respect 🫡 based solely on being human. It’s up to them to lose it.
D. Already stated multiple times the #btc I’ve made will be donated to charity & to honor #AaronSwartz as he must be remembered.

Apologies. I was more replying to that note you added with beckham on self sovereignty, so maybe the question was more to that noter. I’m already impressed when someone makes effort and learns how to store this magic money themselves. The whole node things sounds next level to a non techy, so I kinda reacted upon that.

True wealth is something one has to go (re)discover for themselves I feel. When we’re open to learn and grow we recognize the wealthy among us. The wealthy are not greedy, they share their wealth because it is full of love. If I have 100 dollars and give you 50 I have 50 left for myself, but if I give you all my love I still have it all too. Those words are not mine, they were shared with me once by someone I see as wealthy and I remember them now because they ring true inside me.
You answered my question enough. I’m here just following more and more nyms because I’m learning nostr works like this I guess. It changes the content I see a bit off the topics of just magic money.

Thank you. I probably was meant to more talk to you for a moment. Not really in the mood to have a discussion pon it anymore. I get where the meme points to, but don't real care because many people don't understand the workings of all these fancy toys humans made. In that way we rely on others, even if it just the work someone else did to go from raw materials to a shovel.

With all respect to that nym, i was a bit annoyed and I felt my question was more of a poke, so one might think how much we need other peoples hardware -on the btc topic- to rely on what we are doing right now. Just like chatting, or playing with magic money to hopefully clear out fiat.
As you said about the sun. If a solar flare fries all our toys, what what does self sovereignty actually mean.. You answered that bit I. In the “rich” countries most buy food. The "poor" now more about the land and would probably fare well. ‘Self sovereign' for me would also me to know what 'self' even means. Who am I?
