Yup. Look at results of libertarian parties all over the world. It's in single digits. And those tend to be heavily economy focused.

Yes. Unfortunately politics works on basis of promising stuff (money) to people for votes which makes them dependent more on politics (state). And each cycle the spiral is getting deeper and deeper...
My fear is that there is no peaceful way out of it. Or better those are exceptions.

Yup. There are other options. They mostly start with taking enough responsibility for your life that you don't need to participate in that system.
