I've long been suspicious of both, but I think they each occasionally say insightful things.
It's a question of signal to noise ratio and whether the listener is equipped to separate the two.

Both sound like gibberish nonsense to me so … I don’t even bother anymore. Eric can’t even explain his theory to lay person saying they’d need to understand his terminology but the guy in the video more or less explained it in 5 mins.
