They use "shape charges" so yea they do have to get pretty close. It focuses the power into a very small area and hence they are good at destroying vehicles, etc. as well.
I would like to see a little more at the end, I feel like we are being so manipulated. I’m not saying what we saw was not real, I’m just not seeing enough at the moment.
