It occurs to me that in the mission for Bitcoin to have a real chance of becoming a widely adopted alternative to an eventual CBDC it would benefit greatly from at least some level of political support. No this won't ever come from either of the two main parties (in the UK) but I am in contact with Bitcoin advocates active within the UK political system.

If anything fruitful comes of this you'll know about it.

It is my hope we bitcoiners can directly challenge the statists on their own turf.

Now the zapathon has cooled down...

I'm totally serious about this. If I gotta personally be involved with politics I'll do it if I think it'll have a real chance of helping fight the unified "two party" authoritarian system.

If I ain't trying real shit and just complaining on the internet it'll be the person in the mirror who is to blame if the CBDC smashes our self-sovereignty.

Even if I fail I can at least feel happy honest in the fact I did all I could.

Whether anything fruitful comes of this is to be seen. But I'm not saying any of this lightly. I'm in contact with our allies inside political parties now.

Time will tell. Tick tock another block.

I'm in contact with an existing political party with representatives across the UK.

I think it's a good idea. I don't personally believe that there is a strictly political solution to the shit that we are in with these transnational , intergovernmental , globalist scumbags, but it helps to come at them from all angles. Fight them on as many fronts as we can.

Exactly. If nothing else it'll become an issue that's debated and discussed properly. Get the public thinking about it even if no government change comes out of it - because that public awareness will strengthen the agorist power of Bitcoin regardless.
