Replying to Avatar Noodle

Has anyone proposed a NIP to allow for Nostr key rolling?

I’m sure lots of people have pasted private keys into some of the web clients, so it’d be amazing to be able to roll keys and get a new public key whilst retaining your follows/followers.

#[0] do you know if this is able to be done now, and I’m just unaware of it?

Not quite the same as rolling but it's the closest we have at the moment I think

i do look forward to the day when we are able to do this. it doesn't seem like it would have to be overly complicated. create a new event that when seen by clients the client would follow the new public key and unfollow the current one.
