The ING group was invested in Ethereum in 2016. ING groups biggest shareholder is Blackrock.
That's just 1 bank and example.
I bet Blackrock has been in the game longer than most of you.

I would not be surprised in the least if the mass majority of shitcoin funding and development money could be traced back to Blackrock. It's an effective affinity scam attack surface and it muddies the water for a true decentralized cryptocurrency in the eyes of normies.
It wouldn't even surprise me if their masters had a hand in creating Bitcoin.
You don't disrupt your own monopoly and blow up the one simple trick that gives you ultimate power (money printer). I'd put those odds at > 0%.
If they had discovered digital scarcity first; I assume they would generate a project like Ethereum. At first make it POW and then allow idiotic centralized code changes like POS, compromise the project and then blow it up. After, they would stand in front of the burning wreckage and say some shit like: "They private sector cannot be trusted to mint money in the digital age, you need professionals like at the Fed. Oh, and here is our new CBDC now with bLoCkChAiN!!!"
JP Morgan funded the founding of the Ethereum Foundation too.
i almost got a job with one of the subsidiaries at the time, consensys, but my passport ran out and i didn't have the money to replace it at the time, working as a volunteer-for-bed-and-breakfast at a christian hostel in amsterdam.
