For you pubkey: link it to your identifier as described in the article:

Ah, cool, so I already have that. So the idea will be to have the address on a page, and people will just copy/paste it into the Nostr client of their choice?

Other people can find you with this address and it's unique. Your displayed name is not.

To log in into a client of your choice you need your private key which has nothing to do with your nostr address

Yes, I meant people will copy/paste the address into their client to be able to find me.

and some (as describe with nostrplebs) services are even linking your lightning address, so you can receive zaps on your nostr address
