I don't have to ask you any questions in my replies if you don't want me to. Questions are nice because they let the other person know what kinds of responses the asker believes are relevant to their position. But insults are a nice alternative to questions, since they give the other person a more explicit reason to respond, and though insults don't give the other person as much direction, the other person is given more freedom with how they can respond as a result.
I'm surprised you think you have reason to engage even on a surface level. Instead of just asking what this reason is, I can instead simply accuse you of the least flattering possible reason you could be replying that's consistent with your choices.
My guess is that you cannot cope and you struggle to rationalize when an atheist has actually sound reasoning in their beliefs. I think you want to only engage on a surface level because you are looking for the first excuse to dismiss my beliefs so that you can maintain your concious denial without revealing just how little you understand what I actually think or why.
So many other Christians understand atheists better and are able to accept the idea that all opinions about God are subjective and valid. Many of these Christians would simply choose not to talk with me at all. I think you should come clean about the real reason you are talking with me.
