i've read it twice. pretty sure probably Satoshi did too, at least twice. the monetary policy of bitcoin is straight out of Human Action's theory about money.
probably the biggest flaw in the book is he glosses over the psychological mechanisms of power and manipulation. his thesis is about the fact that central control (ie, any type of government) cannot create prices, only individuals participating in a market with individual scales of preference can.
socialism cannot be defended at the level of purely economic calculation, it fails and the history of both modern socialism and its precursors of mercantilism and monarchy are replete with probably hundreds of examples of the way that government cannot manage money or markets. they always eventually get taken over by delusional megalomaniacs and the simple fact is, like Hayek's information problem states - they can't possibly know what everyone needs, or wants, nor is it moral for them to dictate any of this.
