Then contact them and give them a piece of your mind. Thank them for their YES vote or tear them a new asshole if they voted NO.

Finally, urge them to vote NO on the bill in its current form next week, as this bill clearly violates the Bill of Rights. Let them know that you are paying attention and will vote them out of office if they vote to pass this bill.

Congressman,

First I want to thank you for your YES vote on the Briggs amendment to section 702. This important amendment mandated something that is already required by the 4th amendment to the Constitution.

Since that amendment has failed, I must now urge you to vote NO on the bill in it's current form, as it is a clear violation of the Bill of Rights. My 4th amendment rights are non-negotiable, and I trust that you will do the right thing in this matter. You will have my vote for reelection only if you vote NO on this bill.
