Do you live in a place where CO2 guns sew your only option or are they just your preference?

I ask because I live in a region of the US where it's generally safe to assume that many people you meet or pass on the street are concealed carrying.

If you live in a place where that's not an option for you, but you obviously enjoy shooting, I would love to get your thoughts on firearms in general.

I know it's probably weird to the majority of people in the world, but I try to avoid going places where people don't carry. I find it unsettling.
