I just finished reading it. I enjoyed it! Very optimistic vision for humanity. It was a clever detail how these species of the Federation are secretly aiding the bitcoin network to later have currency to buy advanced human technology. That’s a great piece of world building! It immediately makes me wonder what other species’ advanced technologies look like. The detail about how to leave humans alone so they develop their own innovations based upon their unique perspective kinda blew my mind in a way. I hadn’t really thought of that! It’s like watching a child solve a problem without jumping in to show them the “right” way. Good ending to a satisfying anthology. Are you planning to write more fiction?

Awesome! Thank you! I'm glad you liked it!

I would like to actually, but I haven't been writing much recently. Most of my Bitcoin extra curriculars have been focused on running my Bitcoin meetup lately.

For fiction I like to think about future societies that have Bitcoin woven into the fabric of their culture and potential future enhancements to Bitcoin or other Bitcoin layers, but I'm not sure how I would make those concepts into something fun to read... I've actually thought about taking a fiction writing class to learn more. 🙂

A bitcoin meetup might be more important than going to writing classes but if you can find more time I’d love to see what you come up with! It might be cool to just write out the ideas of what you think you’d see for future innovations and then come up with a fun story and plot around them. Personally, crime is fascinating and I’d love to know what crime on a bitcoin standard would look like. Kinda reminds me of the first story of 21 Futures: The Last Mugging. Anywho, I will always encourage people to be creative so go do it! When you can 😊
