Yeah, I've been using my self-hosted lnbits with LNURL, but it doesn't work great really. I want to try to avoid custodian but it's though 🥲

It has node management. IMO all wallets should consider offering three levels of custody - beginner (custodial), intermediate (channel managed) and advanced (self managed). Breez doing some great work making self custody noob-friendly.
