It’s amazing to have lived through several world-altering technological shifts:

- analog everything to digital everything

- landlines to smartphones

- not having home internet to having dial-up and now ubiquitous broadband internet

- the birth of bitcoin (though I wish I’d paid attention sooner) and now the early stages of its adoption as an alternative to the fiat standard

- the creation of nostr and the beginning stages of the shift from centralized online communities to a decentralized censorship-resistant paradigm of communication

The same for me and I think about this a lot. Once you have seen a few of these shifts you get good at spotting them earlier.

I agree I wish I had spotted #Bitcoin sooner, however we are all still early.

The real aha moment is once you see Bitcoin and Nostr for what they are and realize that in the grand scheme of things, there is little the legacy system can do to try to stop them.

I’m excited and grateful to have been fortunate enough to live through this period of history and to experience the transformation in real time.

Same, born in '67 so saw alot of fast change growing up and it's getting exponentially faster. Gradually then suddenly 💥
