It is true, but i would not be so extremist.

If you live alone in a lost island or forest, you can do anything you want, no one bother what you do and your action don't touch anyone else.

But when you live with other people, you have to communicate with them sometimes, and it have to be respectful if you expect it to be the same for you.

So yes, don't be what other expect you to be, if it is not what you want.

But you don't need to be an asshole or a coward for other just to free yourself.
